PAST CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
153212 - PAINTING FROM PHOTOGRAPHS
Through March 8, 2017
Participants will learn to take photographs and use them as inspiration for painting. Our goal will not be to make an identical replica of the photograph but use it as a basis for developing a painting. We will explore how changing colors, cropping and altering composition can bring a painting to life.
253214 - PLEIN AIR PAINTING
April 1 - May 13, 2017
Learn to paint in plein air (outdoors). This class will paint at various locations within walking distance of the Greenbelt Community Center. We will explore many techniques to capture the outdoors on canvas with acrylic paint. All levels of artists are welcome.
