The bare-shouldered mountains bloom with heather, part of my "Landscapes of memory" series, is inspired by a memory of the first time I saw a field of heather flowing down the side of a low mountain. It was like a rich sea of purple which moved in waves as the wind dropped down in the valley. This original watercolor is painted on archival acid-free cold press 140 lb. watercolor paper and measures 6 x 9 inches.
Painting comes unframed and packaged in a protective sturdy cardboard mailer to make sure your art arrives to you in good condition.
