The sun nestled in amongst the quivering trees, part of my "Landscapes of memory" series, is inspired by this one spot on my way home, that if you are on the crest of the hill at just the right moment, you will see this amazing sunset just before you drop down the other side of the rise and it disappears from view. It is a fleeting beauty made that much more precious for its brevity. This original watercolor is painted on archival acid-free cold press 140 lb. watercolor paper and measures 9 x 12 inches.
